ワシントンは東京と反対でエスカレータに乗る時、止まっている場合は右側、歩く場合は左側です。まだ、ついつい左側で立ち止まってしまいますけど。In Washington DC, when I get on an escalator, I have to stand on the right side. And if I walk up an escalator, I have to do so on the left side. It is contrary to theway in Tokyo (Japan). I have heard that it is same as theway in Osaka... I still stand on the left side, when I get on an escalator unintentionally..
