よくよく考えてみると、去年の６月に東京からＤＣ、９月にＤＣとイタリア往復、１０月にＤＣと東京往復、１２月にＤＣとアイルランド往復、と全ての長距離旅行にデルタ航空を使ってます。ほとんどビジネスだし。ということで、私はデルタにとってはとってもいいお客様のようで、今回、アトランタ経由でリオに行きましたが、行きは、アトランタ－リオ間がビジネスにアップグレードされました。帰りは、アトランタ－ＤＣ間がファーストにアップグレードされました。行きがビジネスで本当によかったです。帰りはエコノミーだったので相当疲れましたけど・・・。リオ旅行は最初から順調♪
そういえば、空港でドルをブラジル通貨レアル（R$）に両替しましたけれど、結構レートがよかったです。ただし、町の両替の方がレートがよいです。１レアルは、０．４３ドルくらいだったと思いますが、$500がR$1100になります。私、旅の途中でレアルがなくなって、両替もなくて困ってしまって、マーケット（ほとんどハンドメイドのブラジル土産がいっぱい売っている）で、ドルに両替してもらいましたが、$100がR$200でした（笑）。

On reflections, I used Delta airline with the one way from Tokyo to DC last June, the round trip from DC to Italy last September, the round trip from DC to Tokyo last October, and the round trip from DC to Ireland last December. Most of the flights were with business class. So, I think I am a good customer for Delta. Regarding the flight to Rio via Atlanta, my seat was upgraded from economy class to business class from Atlanta to Rio and my seat was also upgraded from economy class to first class from Atlanta to DC. I was very lucky to go to Rio with business class. I was tired with the flight from Rio to Atlanta, because my seat was economy...
Then Rio trip started off on the right foot.
I exchanged US$ for Brazilian money Real (R$) at the airport in Rio, and the exchanging rate was not bad. However, the exchanging rate at the exchange shop in Rio was better than that at airport. I think one real is about 43 cents, and when I exchange US$500 in the exchange shop, I can get 1100R$. Well. I ran short of R$ during Rio trip, and there was no exchange shop near, then I exchanged $ for R$ in the market (many people sell Brazilian souvenirs which is handmade in the market.), the market people gave me R$200 instead of $100. It was a bad rate.
